Podcasts, Plays, and Procrastination.

初秋の風、夏の余韻 (Early Autumn Wind, Lingering Memory of Summer) - Shuichi Nakano, c.2010

Dear The Reader,

I am sorry that it has been such an inconceivably long time since I last graced these pages with a touch of anything mildly interesting, inspiring, or inappropriate; and I am sorry that it shall be a just a little while longer before I do so again. I have been extremely busy, and when I have not I have been either extremely drunk, or extremely asleep, usually combining the two for the sake of efficiency.
I am currently working on my first play, which will be at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. I will post more details, and some extracts, when they are more concrete, so please check back for those. I have also been working on the novel, the first chapter of which I have previously periodically put up on here. (See posts a priori).
In the meantime I can offer you very little, except for this invitation to listen in to a dear friend of mine's new radio show, mixing a supreme smoothie of sketches, satire, and slander, in the faulty blender of appealing comedy.
It is called The Nihilist Gardening Hour, and promises to bring enjoyment to anybody who enjoys a dash of silliness mixed in with the surreal, and the sublime.
